Sound Designer

Remote•Revenue ShareWe are currently operating on Revenue Share compensation. Salary amounts are planned pay for when funding milestones are reached. The two co-founders are deferring their pay until team members receive fair sales-based payouts.
Current Revenue Share: $33.2/hr
Planned Salary (Post-Funding): $16.60/hr
Create immersive audio experiences for our horror game including atmospheric soundscapes, creature audio, and interactive sound systems.
Responsibilities
  • Design cave atmospheres and soundscapes
  • Create military equipment and weapon audio
  • Develop creature sounds and vocalizations
  • Implement gameplay SFX in UE5
  • Design interactive audio systems
  • Collaborate with composers on audio integration
Requirements
  • 2+ years game audio or sound design experience
  • Proficiency in Pro Tools/Reaper/similar DAW
  • UE5 audio implementation knowledge
  • Portfolio featuring atmospheric/horror audio
  • Working mic for voice collaboration
  • Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Horror game audio experience
  • Field recording experience
  • Wwise/FMOD middleware knowledge
  • Interactive audio system design
